The owners building this Custom Home just outside of Downtown Miami wanted to design and build a kitchen to Entertain Family and Friends. Since it was a Custom Home and the homeowner met with Eleet Fine American Cabinetry early in the project no design compromises were made. The space was designed to work with the kitchen and satisfy their design goals.

The kitchen opens up to the Family Room and the Outside Dining Room. A Double Focal Point layout was utilized to provide stunning entrances from both spaces. Entering from the Family Room the island is centered on the custom hood and entering from the Outside Dining room it is centered on the Built-In Fridge and Freezer.

Life is Short: Enjoy It!

Immediate and Extended Family are everything to the Homeowner. Blink and the kids are grown up and gone. They wanted a kitchen to savoir every moment with their Family and Friends. They designed a large kitchen with an island that featured seating on Three Sides. This promotes conversation and provides a place to hang out in the house Without A TV to distract them from enjoying each others company.

Few things are more enjoyable than a Warm Cup of Coffee in the morning. Just the aroma wafting through the home brings a smile to many a morning. The homeowner wanted a space dedicated to this morning ritual that allowed them to have everything they needed in reach and easily tucked away neatly. The custom Pocket Doors hide this Coffee Station when not in use and allow it to be located near the island seating.

Don’t Let Beauty Hold You Back

Few materials are as beautiful as a slab of Natural Marble. Aside from the expense using Marble in the Kitchen comes with a big risk of stains from liquids like red wine or coffee. Sealers can be applied to mitigate this risk but high acidic items, like citrus juice, can wear these sealers away over time. The homeowner wanted a beautiful marble slab without having to be worried over every spill and came up with a novel solution to protect it: 3M Clear Adhesive Sheet. Used often to protect cars paint finishes this sheet practically disappears and provides the ultimate level of protection for their Gorgeous slab of Marble.

Organize for the Masses

Entertaining a large group is much easier if your kitchen is Organized. Items like platters and cutting boards have their homes in the island and are easily accessed. Spices, utensils and knives also have homes designed just for them making entertaining a breeze.
